 Machine Brush Manufacturing

brushes
A machine brush comes in various shapes and sizes. Specific machine brush shapes are wheel, cup, end and spiral or tube. A machine brush is also called a power brush, as the brush is attached to grinders or other machinery that rotates the brush at high speeds to remove material or debris. Brush bristles are usually made with metal, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, abrasive metal like aluminum oxide and silicon carbide, or brass. They can also be made with tampico, a natural fiber, or synthetic fiber such as nylon. Machine brushes can also be used as finishing tools, or honing tools and can be used in wet or dry applications.

Another type of machine brush is our strip brush, often called channel back brush. Strip brushes can be customized to fit an enormous amount of applications, including but not limited to: sealing, conveyor cleaning, surface cleaning, surface roughening, dusting, product separation or transfer, tensioning devices, static dissipation, external or internal pipe cleaning, filter or screen cleaning, glass washing or fruit or vegetable washing. The size of the brush is determined by channel size (the metal back), fill material and brush configuration (such as straight, coiled, wound or cup-like). Trim lengths are virtually unlimited; channel sizes range by number, the smaller the number the smaller the base width; bristle material depends on what your application requires. Almost all bristles are available, including conductive, in a range of diameter sizes.
